About Us

Shobana makes every contact count with ​every customer. She will spend the time it ​takes to help that person understand how ​their treatment works and how to get the ​most out of it. She can identify when ​something in that person’s lifestyle is ​amiss and recommends appropriate ​Practitioner Only ranges to complement ​prescribed ones, to help optimise their ​therapy.

Shobana always makes time for patients ​in need. It is not unusual to find Shobana ​visiting one of her special patients after ​hours simply because they need her to, ​and because to Ann, life is about ​meaning, about helping people when you ​can.

Compounding is also Shobana’s passion. ​She will work with a formulation and it’s ​prescriber until the compound is “just ​right”. Shobana has that special ​ingredient she adds to everything she ​makes – she calls it love.

What is ​Compounding

Compounding pharmacies prepare specially blended medications. Pharmacists with special ​skills can use active ingredients to customise the right medication.

Compounding a medication for you can remove potential allergens or preservatives. A ​compounding pharmacy can create individual medicines for you and your family.

You might have an allergy that prevents you from taking an additive in some prescription ​medications. Your doctor might have prescribed you a different dose than is widely available ​at chemists. Some children also need their own formulations to support their health. Or ​perhaps your veterinarian has prescribed a that requires a special formulation.

When you need a medication that removes or adds particular ingredients, we can help. So ​when you ask, what is a compounding pharmacy, this is what it is.

In a pharmacy, compounding is mixing a range of special preparations to create the right one ​for you. Based on the active ingredients and using regulatory-approved ingredients, trained ​pharmacists will customise a medication to assist your health care.

You can order your prescription online with us. After receiving your order and once we sight your script, ​we will call you to complete a thorough risk assessment, then finalise your order and collect payment ​details.

We then begin the process of compounding your script and making the necessary preparations.

Please Note:

Following the laws outlined by the Pharmacy Board of Australia, we must receive the original signed ​prescription before we can dispense/supply any prescription medications.

Therefore, you must either:

• Bring in your original prescription with you when you collect your medication, or:
  
• Send the original prescription to us via post. We strongly suggest Express Post as it is faster, more ​reliable and it also provides you with tracking of the delivery.
  

All products take two working days to compound and allow one to two business days for delivery. We ​require a signature on receipt for all deliveries.
